Silver Butter is an Australian metal-arts jewellery practice exploring fluid, organic and slightly otherworldly forms. The work moves between hand-built wax, casting, surface manipulation, stone setting and digital experimentation. Rather than separating process from outcome, the development of a piece is treated as part of its visual language.

SELECTED WORKS

A collection of jewellery and sculptural objects developed through an ongoing exploration of organic form, texture and material. Each piece moves between experimentation and wearability, allowing the material itself to influence the final form.

PROCESS / DEVELOPMENT

My practice is heavily process-led, moving between drawing, wax modelling, hand fabrication, casting and digital experimentation.

I enjoy allowing ideas to change throughout the making process — often beginning with a loose sketch or physical gesture and developing through wax, metal and surface.

Silver Butter is an evolving practice, and this gallery represents a selection of work across different stages of development. From early experiments and one-off pieces to commissioned work, each project contributes to an ongoing exploration of jewellery as both an object and a form of sculpture.
